Coal India की subsidiary Bharat Coking Coal Limited का IPO 9 जनवरी को खुलने जा रहा है। यह 2026 का पहला mainboard IPO है। कंपनी ने FY25 में ₹13,803 करोड़ का revenue और ₹1,240 करोड़ का profit दिया है। Bharat Coking Coal को 1972 में establish किया गया था और अब यह mini-ratna status की कंपनी है। Grey Market में IPO को ₹13 का premium मिल रहा है जो शेयर के price band के ऊपर है। कुकिंग कोल की भारी demand को देखते हुए यह IPO काफी महत्वपूर्ण माना जा रहा है।

Bharat Coking Coal Limited देश की सबसे बड़ी कोकिंग कोल उत्पादक कंपनियों में से एक है। कंपनी के पास Jharkhand के Jharia और West Bengal के Raniganj में coal mines हैं। April 2024 के डेटा के अनुसार सरकार के पास 7,910 million tonnes का coal reserve है। Coking coal का use steel production में होता है जो country के infrastructure और industrial growth के लिए जरूरी है। कंपनी को 2014 में mini-ratna status मिला था जो इसकी operational efficiency और profitability को दिखाता है। देश के coal export और domestic demand दोनों में यह कंपनी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है।

9 जनवरी को खुलने वाला यह IPO 9 से 13 जनवरी तक retail investors के लिए open रहेगा। Anchor investors को 8 जनवरी को allocation मिलेगा। यह completely fresh issue है और Coal India 46.57 crore shares बेच रहा है। Grey Market में IPO को ₹13 का premium मिल रहा है जो investor confidence दिखाता है। Coal की global demand, India के infrastructure growth plans और government की disinvestment strategy को देखते हुए यह IPO काफी significant है। Long-term perspective में Indian economy को coking coal की बहुत जरूरत होगी।
